Many Young People Of South Africa are unemployment, with and without tertiary education. More and More of those with tertiary education are getting unemployed, the government tries to come up with initiatives that can help young people but those initiatives are just not enough, most of the initiatives that are currently in place do not produce the results that are expected mostly because of miss-management of funds put in this initiatives by the government. All most all of this initiatives management miss use's funds, those who must take the money to the people take this money home to advance their families and buy drinks for their comrades and young women. While this is happening, young people are being left desperate. People whom are expected to come up with solutions only come up with get rich quick schemes or just do nothing, like the current president of the ANCYL Collin Maine, the fat dude only speaks about the issues of young people only when saying those issues do not exist. No body at the top of the private sector or public sector seems to care about young people, they keep on drinking the blood of the same young people and their elders and watch them get drained while they("big shots”) drink champagne. Must we watch and do nothing?

Every community in Gauteng has about 60% of unemployed young people, and in that community there are the so called big shots who benefit from political connections and others are self established. Most of this people have enough money to end unemployment in their communities, they can fund a business run by young people who will employ young people and also employ young people in the tenders they get. They do not do this, in fact they do almost nothing for the communities young people, not all of them, but most of them. This is because they like being worshiped by the people, they like being called “Ngamla” by young boys at the street corners who usually ask for Iclippa(R100.00) to buy beers so that they can ease the daily stress they go through everyday. From where I stand, they do not deserve to be called Ngamla, because a Ngamla is an employee to someone, so this “Big Shots” do not employ locals so they do not qualify to be called Ngamla’s by the locals. If they really want to be called “Ngamlas, let them employ young people, let them help young people open businesses and go to school, after all, they benefit because young people and their elders voted, they wouldn't be boosted by their comrades if people did not vote for the party led by their(“Big Shots”) comrades. Young people must stop respecting people who do not demand their respect, don't just respect a person because he/she wears a Rolex watch, especially when that someone bought that Rolex watch with the money that was supposed to be making you a better person. Must We Watch and do nothing?

Must we watch and do nothing when we the future of this country is being attacked, must we watch and do nothing when our country is up for grabs, must we watch and do nothing when those who are supposed to lead us towards a better life lead us to hell, must we watch and do nothing? We cant watch, we cant afford to do nothing, we must act, we are the voters. Everyone must stand up and make sure that young people of our communities get better off, both the young and old must protect the future of our communities, let there be understanding among our selves and let us take back the control of our communities. Let us help each other start businesses, let us help our brothers and sisters go to school, let us help those who are affected by drugs, let us work together to eradicate every ill component that exists in our communities, if we do not do this, who will do it for us. Those among us who want to be political leaders, work together and closely with the community, do not rob the community, the community needs you and you need them, this also goes to the “Big Shots” and self established business people and well off people. Young people stand up for your selves, black people stand up for yourselves, black child stand up for your self and do not forget to help your brothers and sisters, do not be a parasite.
