Alafang High School On Top Of R30 million AND GUNS(Allegedly)

This is one interesting story that most people will easily deem false, but actually if you ask residents of Nhlapo section they will tell you that it is actually the truth. Once apon a time in Nhlapo section during the 80's, there was a popular gang known as the BMX, this gang was known for their brutal killings and lavish lifestyle of high priced clothing and the parties they throwed around the hood. Two of their popular figures are one Makaka and other Wosh. They used to play soccer at a ground that now has the building for Alafang High School, They used to play there when ever they are not doing their usual gangster jobs.

It is said that Alafang High School was erected as part of the solution to decrease gangsterism in the Nhlapo areas, little did officials know that they are erecting the building on top of R30 million stolen cash. The cash was stashed there by the gang so that the police dont find the cash on the gangsters because if that happened the gangsters would be arrested. This story is well known by elders in the Nhlapo section, and one man who used to be a house keeper(a security guard who has a house inside school premises)at Katlehong high school knows this story well because he used to play soccer there, he says that the stash is probably near the schools gate, he is popularly know as badi, so if it happens you track badi, ask him if this story is true or false. This are not facts, so dont go around Alafang High School looking for stashed cash!!

Another popular story about the school is that of Hidden Guns, this are the guns that were used by the members of SDU (SElf Defence Unit), the guns were those that were distributed in Katlehong allegedly by Winnie Mandela. The Members of SDU used this guns to protect themselves against the members of PASO(Pan African Student Organization), when the need for this guns went off, the guns got hidden....at the school premises. Remember though, this are hear says, so you are incouraged to simply asked locals and elderly people about this story, it will be really worth it to know local and South African History.
