What The 1% Knows
Make mistakes, fall, fail and be laughed at until you get it right. The reason why it is only 1% of people who get it right is because many people are scared of humiliation, failure, and making mistakes. The time you will stop falling will be the time you start doing everything right, that's when you will start learning few things and seeing no need to improve.

Make mistakes, fall, fail, and be laughed at until you get it right.
If you are scared of falling, then you are scared of climbing
If you are scared of climbing, you will never reach your destiny,
because your destiny is never down but up, down is where you start.
If you are scared of failing, then you will never start the test
If You don't start the test, you will never pass
How then will you achieve your goals if you don't pass the test?

You make a mistake when you try to take for the first time.
if you are scared of making a mistake, then where will you take the courage to take, to take what belongs to you from the universe?
If you are scared of making mistakes, I have news for you, someone will do the taking for you.
Make mistakes, fall, fail and be laughed at until you get it right.

Pain Of Betrayal

It hurts doesn’t it?
Remembering what you’ve been in and the pain of giving in?
Being betrayed by your fellow human beings
When you’ve worked so hard to live
The life you’ve been living and them forgetting what they’ve been given.
Theft:
Slem Lerato
To come back from work to an empty home
Rape:
Living in a world of no hope
Murder:
The sick twisted mind of the knife holder
War:
Our brothers and fathers with hearts of steel as they prepare to become soldiers.

Sometimes I just wonder if we’ll ever get to be like our mothers.

I put my ear to the ground tryna hear the world’s heart beat,
If it feels the pain we are enduring
If it knows every breath I take makes me sick…
It’s like taking a long walk to the devil’s peak.

From the first time I stepped in this world
I looked into the eyes of the devil
Thinking I was taking an easier way to heaven
I wonder if I’ll ever get to be on cloud...what? ...eleven?
From the first time I was born
I was afraid of dawn
And wanted my mother there 24/7

PAIN OF BETRAYAL
Can you feel the pain from my words?
PAIN OF BETRAYAL
Can you feel the pain when I grab a pen and stab you for your sins till you bleed through your veins?
I wanna hear the world’s heart beat,
Lemme tell you something
In heaven there is no heat
In hell there is no cold
But on earth our hearts turn to stone
When we grow old to ashes of loathe
‘cause I stood by you through your darkest hour
Even though I ain’t gat that kinda power
When you came to me beautiful as a flower
And your tongue spitting venom
That spikes my heart sour.

Words cannot describe the pain I am feeling
Actions can only make see the red I was excreting
MERCY I was pleading
And FORGIVENESS geez…I’m still thinking.

For revenge is a dish best served cold
Which is sweet… when you suffer, maybe I will quit.

Black Child

Black child you are not your colour
Black child you are not destruction
Slem Lerato
And yet I see you trust in fire
The chaos
And the smell of a burning tyre.
Show them…that a black child that is not of colour can also be a doctor
And not just a black child fathered by a non-existent plumber.

Show them you can speak well with your borrowed tongue
And still go home to sing praise songs of your heroes that were never sung
…Dance rhythmically to the sky’s thunder as your African feet kiss the ground
And your golden voice pierces the earth that your father mined.

Show them that you own a decolonized mind
Black child
That you can still wear a suit and tie as you take everything in a stride
And yet still have a home in your African tribe
And be adorned by a wild animal’s stripes…
Sitting round a table breaking bread with the unWhite
We need you to make them see no colour
Break the normality like: ”For breakfast I have supper
And yet you still discriminate me for something called colour”

However, faceless child it starts with you not trusting in stone and fire…
Be a Blackless child…

Decolonize you own mind.

ambitions in different ways, but
forgetting that we are aggravate on
things that makes us to be who we
are.

There are several things that you
actually need to do, of which they
don’t need a life coach but, your s
oul and your vision. They are
driven by your dreams to be a
success.

You need to tap into your hidden
talents, be your own boss, step into
your future, transform your heart
and mind, and simplify the best
that is in you. Dignity and respect
change them into annals.

Know yourself, be concerned about
what’s coming, be anxious about
your tomorrow, because nothing
matters the most than yourself. Be
the start, be a light in the darkness
and most of all lead your
destination.

Enrich the goodness that is inside
you, be brave fall for the ones that
will uplift you and be secured about
your soul and your gracious spirit.

UNVOICED EXPRESSION

Calmness, distress, intolerance, void, injustice, conflict and descent felt from within by the victimized man.
How shallow he had been in the position of intellects, how concentrated he was in earsplitting moment of loud melodies.
He was still in the vibration of the troops he called upon one would swear he lacked the vibe,he was utterly quiet in deep conversations of mass...
Pauline Mpho Mpanza
what is a man like him doing in a place like this?...remarked people joyful appreciating the crowd but disturbed by man's visit in the blast of social bees that showed to have no interest in.

The crowd seemed to share sore things in common it was their language of communication, their red eyes, their dysfunctional background, their tone ,their movements, their color dark, shady and not bright it is seemed their mentality was devoted to the similar custom.it was a place full of the African ethnicity each brought to the majority for one reason"FUN"how unlikely to roam around township and not find an assembly of these people letting it all out and shouting it down.

The calm man was still in the place like this.he had his aims he had his visions and  he was prepared to tell them through the conscience of his audience. His appearance sparked and flashed out caught the eyes of the crowd in a mindless momentum he had his majority intensely fixated by his contour,he was quite small and highly unnoticed but he had all the attention of those great figures.he had no insecurity at all about his construction he even felt no intimidation from his clique although he was slight he knew his importance "a few more sips wont hurt"pierced a voice of beautiful women in exterior in her early formative years..this man still felt unused but glad he was the genius of all things logic the pattern of the crowd.the clock seemed to be in his pocket and every second it ticked the crowd had few cents left with them.By the time the sun came the was majority was penny-less and they had allowed themselves to be victims of this solvent substance of a man and he just couldn't stop grinning.

The Girl With The Guitar
Baanetse Machona

Was crossing the street from the other side
She was nearly hit,hit by a car
'cause she couldn't see it, her eyes were on the instrument
The incident coursed a scene, we all looked at her
But it did not catch her attention, cause her mind was not there

The girl with the guitar
Kept her mind on composing tunes
I followed her, watched her moves
Her eyes were wide open
And her pace to quick I couldn't keep up
Her strings too loud I couldn't hear a voice
As I got closer I closed my eyes because I couldn't bare the noise
But even when I closed my ears i could still hear the sound
Through my heart.mind, and soul, the sound of her mad strings
Was ringing throughout my body  and made me feel uncomfortable
With what? I don't know!

I decided to stop the girl with the guitar
“What is this loud sh*t you are playing?”
I asked, pretending to be smiling
She looked straight into my eyes with her big balls
That's when I noticed her brownish dreadlocks
That's when I noticed her huge weed lips
That's when I noticed her curved hips
That's when I saw her huge eyebrows
She said to me “” I don't know what I am playing, but it does heal the pain of feeling lost”
I stared at her for 5 minutes after she said that
Because indeed her strings heals the pain of feeling lost!!

This Statistics are crazy, sky rocketing, elevating exponentially
Cutting through unexpected boundaries its crippling our economy roughly

Akanyang Makhosi
State resources are carelessly used,
corruption remains a major problem.
Having a mismatch between skills and jobs,
nepotism, cronyism,...why people do that?
I am also confused.
Fresh from tertiary, they came without scars,
but they want them to have experience as if they were bruised.
With the dis-empowerment of past apartheid laws
subsequently leaving our society with the scourge of
illiteracy, I'm not amused

Situational measures jump in to
deprive a family from having basic needs,
for recession has taken its toll,
with emptiness their pockets oozed.
The situation gets tougher as you realize that you are retrenched
Regretting why you did not
invest the money you boozed.

This Statistics are crazy, sky rocketing, elevating exponentially
Cutting through unexpected boundaries its crippling our economy roughly

There are too much skills, but there ain't any suitable jobs
We seem to be redundant, led to an imbalance of less jobs and a huge population
Even though this is Mzansi
Costs of employment are higher than those of Jamaica.
This country now lies in the hands of technological advancements
that replaces the pure and natural way of working
Our people are loosing jobs and there is a lack of information adjustments

This Statistics are crazy, sky rocketing, elevating exponentially
Cutting through unexpected boundaries its crippling our economy roughly

Now we have lost hope,we have lost self-respect, lost motivation
All because of no income, such leads to suicidal thoughts.
Many people lack sense of purpose and so they become victims of exploitation

Our Communities live in danger, they are being attacked by unemployment
Unemployment gives birth to poverty, which smiles and give crime his cousin a hug
This country is nearly drowning in the swirling sea as
Few are taxed, and so few are fed, public services lack funds

This Statistics are crazy, sky rocketing, elevating exponentially
Cutting through unexpected boundaries its crippling our economy roughly

Black Bam'Patile

Black Bam' Patile( Okae Motho Motsho?)
By Baanetse Machona
Akere black ke tshwene, uncivil, sibi
Baanetse Machona
black ke mbeto,sthepha, mobi
black boloi, black di badi, black o ya tshabeya
jwale black bam' patile! Black Bampatile
Bampatile ka di bleach le di weave
bampatile behind the fake english accent, twized eyebros
even the walk and the talk di patile black
le bona jwala bona, hansa le black
Botsho bo patiwe, botho bo patiwe, motho motsho o kae na!
I look at the history tv channels, searching for black
I listen to the African shemans hoping they can tell me
what happened to motho motsho.
But I see that I am looking at the wrong places,
this is where they hide black, this is where he is barried.
Black Baya mo pata, black ba ya mo hata, black ma why o e patile?
