1. ‘Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?’
Written to a man. Yes, the most famous of sonnets is a man writing to another man.
‘And often is his gold complexion dimm’d;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm’d;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,’
The sonnets, most importantly, were published without Shakespeare’s permission so is generally believed to be the best way of understanding the Bard behind the words.
Sonnet 18, and 125 of the other poems, are written directly to a man described as the ‘fair youth’.The others are directed to a ‘dark lady’ and are far more sexual and intimate in nature.
The first 126 urge the fair youth to have children to pass along his beauty to another generation. The sonnets become progressively broody, lonely, and almost bitter that the man prefers another poet.
Originally published in 1609, they would have been lost to obscurity if it wasn’t for John Benson in 1640. But Benson, eager to sanitize Shakespeare’s work, changed many of the male pronouns to female. This is still occasionally done in modern schools. Thankfully, most editions of the sonnets work from the original rather than the bastardized version.

2. ‘I give unto my wife my second best bed…’
What can we know about Shakespeare’s relationship to Anne Hathaway, an older woman, who he married and had three children with?
Well, very little. The two married when Shakespeare was 18, she was 26 and already pregnant with their first child Susanna.
Most famously, when he died, Shakespeare gave her only one thing – the second best bed.
This is viewed by many as a slight and a claim of how he had come to dislike her, viewing the marriage as a trap away from his free life in London.
To explain this, the ‘second best bed’ in Elizabethan times was the marital bed. The ‘best bed’ went to the guest.
Some critics have suggested this to be a show of thanks to his wife, for bearing him his children, and of little else. Others consider it to be romantic.
In the rest of the will, the majority of Shakespeare’s possessions went to his daughter Susanna. Hamnet, his only son, died at the very young age of 11. It is believed Shakespeare’s other daughter Judith got very little in the will so as to avoid it going to her husband, a man who had got another girl pregnant.

It is rumored that the attacks carried on foreign shop owners around South Africa, especially in Pretoria are communities retaliation on the killing of South Africans by Pakistanis and Arab shop owners. Allegedly, the Arabs has killed many people, more than 50 around South Africa, many people were killed in Pretoria,Danoon, and Katlehong. Many people in Danoon believe that the Arab shop owners want to take over their communities and they are ready to kill for that,  by far, reports of arabs killing locals have not been reported on the media since the government fears that this could spark an outrage where South African township dwellers will chase out arab nationals.

Later last year, EastRand born Rapper Reason released a single called Reasus Christ, this was after he released on social media a picture popularly knows as that of Jesus with shades and nudes on his shoulders. The rapper received many criticism on social media but later debated that how sure are people that the picture he used was that of Jesus? In the track he goes further suggesting that the Jesus depiction was fed by white led media to the masses with special target being the African Masses. Little did the rapper know that he will influence the formation of a new "religion" known as the Reasus Cult.

The Reasus Cult originates from Pretoria and it is currently growing there, its members hope that they will influence other regions of the country. The cult claims to have created their own Character to worship, they say this is better than worshiping na western character. The Cult leader who calls herself Queen Lerasus says that the cult does not align it self to Reason or his song, they have just took the picture reason used and made it their character, nothing more than that, it is the same with the Christians taking the picture by DaVinci and using it for their religion., the Leader said. "We are basically the new age movement, a movement created by young South Africans as part of claiming their identity and getting rid of western influence" said one of the followers.

This is one interesting story that most people will easily deem false, but actually if you ask residents of Nhlapo section they will tell you that it is actually the truth. Once apon a time in Nhlapo section during the 80's, there was a popular gang known as the BMX, this gang was known for their brutal killings and lavish lifestyle of high priced clothing and the parties they throwed around the hood. Two of their popular figures are one Makaka and other Wosh. They used to play soccer at a ground that now has the building for Alafang High School, They used to play there when ever they are not doing their usual gangster jobs.

Many Young People Of South Africa are unemployment, with and without tertiary education. More and More of those with tertiary education are getting unemployed, the government tries to come up with initiatives that can help young people but those initiatives are just not enough, most of the initiatives that are currently in place do not produce the results that are expected mostly because of miss-management of funds put in this initiatives by the government. All most all of this initiatives management miss use's funds, those who must take the money to the people take this money home to advance their families and buy drinks for their comrades and young women. While this is happening, young people are being left desperate. People whom are expected to come up with solutions only come up with get rich quick schemes or just do nothing, like the current president of the ANCYL Collin Maine, the fat dude only speaks about the issues of young people only when saying those issues do not exist. No body at the top of the private sector or public sector seems to care about young people, they keep on drinking the blood of the same young people and their elders and watch them get drained while they("big shots”) drink champagne. Must we watch and do nothing?

Way before “Amakula” pakistan shop owners came to Katlehong we had our very own shops owned by people we live with around the neighborhood, this shop owners used to give back to the community by helping young people go to school, give groceries to the poor, and make contribution to local ngo’s. It was all good, we all knew where to find our shops, those who live in Motloung would go to Thanda Bantu Shopping Center, those living in Moshoeshoe would go to Mgabudi and those in Nhlapo would go to the Nhlapo Shopping center, no body complained about the distance of the shops from their homes. The only problem though was that this shops opened later in the morning and closed very earlier, making it a hard task for working mothers to prepare a launch box for their little ones and Scaw Metal workers couldn't get their day starter cigarette, this little problem opened an opportunity for Pakistan tuck shop owners. When the Pakistan tuck shop owners came in, they did not go straight to our shopping centers, they went to the street corners of every section so that those going to the shopping centers in the middle of a section would stop by them first and end up not going to the shopping centers any longer. This strategy of Pakistan shop owners was working very well because now shops at the shopping centers ended up shutting down and others running out of stock, those who remained were also benefiting from other businesses so the loss of consumers did not affect them as much as the others.

People in Katlehong were now depending on Amakula, Amakula opened their shops early and closed late, they bought cheap products and sold them for less and they also gave credits to consumers, so they became popular more than imagined. Less did the people of Katlehong know that the Pakistan were not here as friends that are going to help the consumers, they were here to overtake the local economy, they were here to become the bourgeoisie of the townships. They were becoming arrogant, they treated customers like dirt and were now overtaking the houses of which they were tenants on. They did not contribute to any social couse or employ any one from the neighborhood, infact the people they employed were people from Mozambique, who were cheap labor. This only indicates that the pakistan were not for the community of Katlehong, they were against them. It did not take any longer for them to show their true colors, earlier this year they shot a young innocent boy in Nhlapo, then the people realized that they will have to get rid of the enemy now before they take over a lot and do much damage, the people of Nhlapo revolted against the Pakistan shop owners and chased the out of their neighborhood, they even went to Motloung,Maphanga,Moshoeshoe,and credi to chase out the enemy. Now, the garages the Pakistan occupied as their spaza shops are burned and others are left empty, shops at the shopping centers owned by local people are filled and people are buying from them. The question is, what do we do with the empty garages? We have to close the gap so that the pakistan shop owners find no space to occupy when they attempt to come back.

The community of Katlehong, most especially Nhlapo, will have to be united and support local business people who own shops and those who own shops must respect the people and their wishes, they must make their goods affordable and open their shops early because once you open a shop, you must know that your customer's also have a say, empty garages must be filled up by local people, young people have to come together and open up this garages. All sections in Katlehong must wake up, they must chase out the enemy and own their own economy and lives. Pakistanis supported their own, they brought everything they were selling from their own brothers and sisters and still do, we must do the same, chase them out and take back the economy of our townships. Money must rotate within us, we must build our own like other nations. Young people must unite, township people must unite, let us keep our differences aside and work towards a common goal, which is the betterment of our live. Aluta!!
